One of the best days of my life.
Theatre is a bittersweet beast. I tried my best to be present in each moment yesterday for the opening of our performance, and I think it really helped me get through the chaotic emotional roller coaster of the day, but any time I went to grasp and hold onto a second of the experience, it would quickly slip through my fingers as fast as it came.
I am so proud of what these students were able to accomplish and how brave they were to pour their hearts out, on stage for the first time in their lives. The night was bigger than any of us.
